Rikers Island 'fight nights'? Recently released surveillance footage from Rikers Island revealed inmates crowded around a cell, where one local attorney said they were "...throwing their arms up in the air as if it’s some kind of Vegas boxing match” as correction officers allegedly turned a blind eye. The video shown here was recorded in October 2021, and the attorney told PIX11 News that his client is one of eight men who were forced to fight inside the jail by a gang leader. PIX11’s Ayana Harr
