MIGRATION UPDATE - October 5th, 2023 The first “cool front” (not really a cold front) is blowing through the entire northern United States on the heels of last week’s full moon, and we think this will likely trigger the first migratory movements of the year, primarily among those species and populations that move early—like specks, pintail and teal. The winds blowing straight out of the Prairie Pothole Breeding Region (PPBR) will likely lead to birds showing up throughout the central United Stat
