My parents collected and kept things. I do too. They help connect our stories and this captures one of our greatest adventures- emigration to Australia. We sailed for £10 and made our way from Ireland to Liverpool and down to Southampton where we boarded the ship and away we went. Dad bought a Super 8 camera on the way and he filmed our journey .
